Confirmation
A spirit of joy and reflection filled St Leonard’s Church in Langho yesterday, Sunday 22nd March 2026, as the congregation gathered for a special Confirmation service led by Bishop Philip. The service marked an important milestone in the faith journeys of those being confirmed, as they publicly affirmed their commitment to Christian discipleship.
The candidates took part in the laying on of hands, a central and symbolic moment of the service, as Bishop Philip prayed for each one individually. This sacred act signified their strengthening in the Holy Spirit and their full membership within the Church.
St Leonard’s continues to play a vital role in the Langho community, offering opportunities for worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth. Yesterday’s Confirmation service stands as a testament to the church’s ongoing commitment to nurturing faith across all generations.
